West Indies Twenty 20 Squad
England is a venue West Indies like the most.. why? cause they won world cup here in 1975, again in 1979 and although Caribbean team has lost lot more than they have won in last two decades, they also won the last world cricket tournament that was held in England = Champions trophy 2004.
West Indies comes into this T20 World cup 2009 after 2 test match and 3 one day internationals in England only a week ago, so it has to be said that windies are more acclimatised than most other teams who'll just play couple of warm-up games before the big tournament.
Containing good mix of youth and experience, West Indies squad may not be favorites going into this second installment of T20 tournament, but they sure have the artillery to surprise any team on their day!
West Indies Twenty 20 Squad:
Chris Gayle, Denesh Ramdin, Dwayne Bravo, Shivnarine Chanderaul, Ramnaresh Sarwan, Andre Fletcher, Lendl Simmons, Xavier Marshall, Kieron Pollard, David Bernard, Derren Sammy, Fidel Edwards, Jerome Taylor, Lionel Baker, Sulieman Benn
