India pulled off a comfortable 25 run victory over Bangladesh in their ICC World Twenty20 Group A opener at Trent Bridge.
After India chose to bat first, Gautam Gambhir slammed a quickfire fifty but it was Yuvraj Singh’s violent 18-ball 41 that propelled India to 180 for five. Later Pragyan Ojha’s impressive spell of four wickets for 21 runs reduced the hapless Bangladesh side to 155 for eight.
