Newzeland Vs Scotland T20 World Cup
New Zealand will start their ICC T20 World Cup Tourney on confidence note having beaten India in the warm up match. 2nd Match in ICC World Twenty20 Cricket Tournament, New Zealand vs Scotland (NZ v SC) from Groud D is scheduled on 6th June, 2009 from 10:00 local time (09:00 GMT).The black caps can now be real toughies for anyone. If Brendon McCullum is in form, he will be perfect T20 batsman and we know that from his IPL season one innings. Daniel Vettori can fit as perfect bowler in any format of the game and Jacob Oram can hit the ball out of ground and he is a superb bowler too. Luckily they will face Scotland to start their campaign for T20 world cup on a winning note. For New Zealand the result should be a formality. They have a strong batting line-up based around Brendon McCullum, Jesse Ryder and Ross Taylor, and have a good chance of featuring in the final stages of the tournament. However, their coach Andy Moles is wary and said the Scotland game could be “a potential banana-skin”.
On the other hand for Scotland, their tournament preparations hit a roadblock when the John Blain walked out. Although Gavin Hamilton has some experience, the team cannot hope to win against New Zealand. and unfortunately they are in a tough group and little hope for team Scotland to win a match in the tournament, but they can be crowd entertainers especially Dewald Nel and Fraser Watts.
