Australia vs West Indies ICC Worldcup Twenty20 2009

Australia will be clashing with the West Indies today at The Oval. This will be the first challenging match of the tournament where both teams will be fighting really hard for their win. Aussies got a setback with Symmonds going back due to the recent alcohol issue. Symmonds is the key player for the aussies, he has good experience of T20 games and had recetly played some good innings in the IPL 2009. But Aussies will not loose out their momentum and will give a tough fight to the West Indies.

West Indies have a very dry season in this year. They recetly lost both the ODI and Test series against the England . It’s time where they need to know their potentials and build some match winning strategies. In the warm-up matches, they first thrashed the Ireland but then England thrashed them with a 9 wicket victory. Skipper Chris Gayle doesn’t seems to be getting things in the right way. He holds the key for West Indies, if he fires up today then Aussies can be in trouble.

So a full of excitement and entertaining match coming up your way, Stay tuned for all the latest updates!

India Vs Bangladesh T20 World Cup

India Vs Bangladesh T20 World Cup
Bangladesh takes on defending champion India in the opening group A match of the ICC World T20 Cricket on Saturday India Vs Bangladesh In T20 World Cup Today at Trent Bridge in Nottingham, England.

It will be the first encounter between Bangladesh and mighty India at any international T20 stage. Bangladesh will take to the field with a high spirit as they has a sweet memorable record against India in one-day World Cup in 2007 in West Indies where the Bengal Tiger qualified in the super eight stage upsetting India by five wickets.

Bangladesh skipper Mohammad Ashraful earlier expressed his desire to qualify in the super eight stage in the T20 World Cup. Before the big extravagant meet, Bangladesh had some good warm-up matches against some big and small teams.

Newzeland Vs Scotland T20 World Cup Match 2009

Newzeland Vs Scotland T20 World Cup

New Zealand will start their ICC T20 World Cup Tourney on confidence note having beaten India in the warm up match. 2nd Match in ICC World Twenty20 Cricket Tournament, New Zealand vs Scotland (NZ v SC) from Groud D is scheduled on 6th June, 2009 from 10:00 local time (09:00 GMT).The black caps can now be real toughies for anyone. If Brendon McCullum is in form, he will be perfect T20 batsman and we know that from his IPL season one innings. Daniel Vettori can fit as perfect bowler in any format of the game and Jacob Oram can hit the ball out of ground and he is a superb bowler too. Luckily they will face Scotland to start their campaign for T20 world cup on a winning note.

For New Zealand the result should be a formality. They have a strong batting line-up based around Brendon McCullum, Jesse Ryder and Ross Taylor, and have a good chance of featuring in the final stages of the tournament. However, their coach Andy Moles is wary and said the Scotland game could be “a potential banana-skin”.

On the other hand for Scotland, their tournament preparations hit a roadblock when the John Blain walked out. Although Gavin Hamilton has some experience, the team cannot hope to win against New Zealand. and unfortunately they are in a tough group and little hope for team Scotland to win a match in the tournament, but they can be crowd entertainers especially Dewald Nel and Fraser Watts.

Teams

Newzeland:
Brendon Diamanti, Brendon McCullum, Daniel Vettori (C), Iain OBrien, Ian Butler, Jacob Oram, James Franklin , Jesse Ryder , Kyle Mills, Martin Guptill , Nathan McCullum , Neil Broom, Peter McGlashan , Ross Taylor , Scott Styris.

Scotland:
Colin Smith, Craig Wright , Dewald Nel , Fraser Watts , Gavin Hamilton , Glenn Rogers , Gordon Drummond , Jan Stander , Kyle Coetzer , Majid Haq , Navdeep Poonia , Neil McCallum , Richard Berrington , Ryan Watson , Calum MacLeod.
